NORM-JECT® disposable syringes are manufactured in Germany under extremely
stringent international quality guidelines.
These unique syringes contain no latex, rubber or silicone oil, all of which can be toxic to sperm. Because of their purity
they have been specially selected for use in reproduction, chromatography and
other exacting laboratory procedures. AIR-TITE syringes
are individually sterile packed. Available in 3 sizes:

Syringe Caps
AIR-TITE syringe caps provide a sterile safety seal for syringes while in transit. They are individually sterile packed and have a plastic cover attached for ease of handling (outer cover is removed after cap is in place). Stocked in clear color only.

Needles
AIR-TITE needles (used for reconstituting extenders only)
are individually sterile packed. Stocked only in 18 gauge x 1/2 inch length. Do not use with semen. Passing sperm through a needle may damage or destroy the cells. Use only pipettes for transferring or inseminating semen.

Pipettes
These disposable plastic pipettes are ideal for handling semen. The tip is smooth, round and polished for safety and comfort during insemination (see photo inset). A convenient adapter allows easy attachment to the syringe. They are individually sterile packed and available in two sizes - 10 in. for large to giant breeds and 5 in. for toy to medium breeds or for semen transfer.

Collection Equipment
The pre-sterilized disposable collection sheath provided in our kit is 11 inches long, allowing a wide cuff turn-down area for secure handling. The medium-weight plastic holds its shape and stays open easily during collection and packaging. Although this sheath is standard equipment in the kit, we can substitute lightweight presterilized bottle liners in either 4 oz. or 8 oz size at the customer's request (sometimes preferred by users with smaller breeds).
